National Reading and Numeracy Personalised Assessments
Summer Term 2021
Pupils in Year 2 – Year 6 will be undertaking on-line Reading and Numeracy Assessments during the summer term.
I would like to reassure you that these assessments will be planned into everyday teaching and learning and will not place additional pressure on the children. They will be administered in a flexible and individual way, ensuring the well-being of our pupils is the priority. The well-being of our pupils always has a strong focus at Crymlyn Primary and this is even more important after such a difficult year.
The assessments will support staff to plan next steps for individual learners’ needs and progression. Feedback will be provided to parents before the end of the summer term as part of our end of year reporting processes.

Pupil Development Grant Information
Pupil Development Grant Update
Funding of up to £125 is available for each eligible learner.
Learners eligible for free school meals at Crymlyn Primary can apply for this grant if they are:
- Entered reception class in primary school (September 2020)
- Entered school years 1, 3 or Year 5 (September 2020)

One claim per school year is permitted.
The closing date for the 20/21 academic year is 30th June 2021
