Year 5 and Year 6 Summer Enrichment Project
Invite from NPT
The summer enrichment activity will be based on five sites across the local authority. The NPT Youth Service and the NPT Music Service will work alongside a sports company called “Sgiliau”. Together they will deliver a variety of fun activities. Children’s wellbeing will be the main focus, activities will allow safe play and problem solving.
The numbers that can attend will be limited to approximately 12 per session and run two or three sessions at each venue for both the morning and afternoon over a two week period (Monday – Thursday). If each session at each location is full, we will be able to support over 380 children aged 9-11 (years five and six only). We will be limiting availability to a maximum of four sessions per child to try and support as many young people as possible. A child can attend either a morning or afternoon session and not both.
Please see form below if you would like your child to attend. The closing date will be Friday July 24th at midday. It is on a first come first served basis. Parents will need to send a completed form to youth.service@npt.gov.uk.
The sessions for pupils at Crymlyn Primary will be held at Llangatwg Community School.

Arrangements for September Update

We will receive further guidance and details from Welsh Government this week. However, we are already busy making our plans at school in preparation for the autumn term. Once we are able to, I will update you on the full details of these plans.
